Body art designs for the hands have proved to be a controversial subject among certain aspects of the tattooing profession to such an extent that some tattooists will refuse to do work on this particular body part, such as a palm tattoo. This is a very delicate area of skin that is prone to sweating and rubbing, not to mention the perpetual movement of the hands as well as frequent bouts of cleaning and daily washing.
